Gabriele Wardeiner

My art "education" goes back about 6 years. A few courses in watercolor, graphite and colored pencil started it all. I am mostly a self taught artist, dabbling in a lot of mediums, having the time of my life. I rarely do things "by the book", which can result in disasters, but also unexpected good works.

Everyone sooner or later, gravitates towards a certain style, a favorite subject in their art. I absolutely love trees, all kinds of trees in their bare winter dress, drawing and painting them in various mediums. Feathers run a close second, I do those mostly on black Rising Stonehenge paper in Prismacolor pencils. Now and then I do a few flower or abstract pieces
